Kijik Corporation’s lands encompass 126,000 of surface estate surrounding Lake Clark
and Six Mile Lake in the Bristol Bay Region of Alaska. These lands represent some of
the most beautiful and pristine areas in the region, providing the foundation of our subsistence lifestyle, and the source of our enduring connection to the Dena’ina Athabascan people.
Our lands contain a variety of natural resources, including timber, minerals, gravel, and potential sources of renewable energy. Kijik Corporation has conducted surveys to document these resources for current and potential use. Any development is approached with caution, aligning with our mission to preserve and protect our lands for generations to come.
In March 2000, Kijik established the Keyes Point subdivision, offering recreational lots around Lake Clark. Accessible only by plane or watercraft, Keyes Point is governed by covenants, conditions, and restrictions managed by the Keyes Point Property Owners Association. Currently, approximately 29 lots are available for sale to the public.
Non-shareholder or descendant visitors must obtain a recreational land use permit before entering.
Please contact Kijik Corporation for more information on General Public Permits & Recreational Opportunities.
Kijik’s lands are actively monitored to ensure proper use. We reserve the right to deny or withdraw approval of any permit application. Our lands are private and subject to the jurisdiction of the State of Alaska. It is the responsibility of visitors to comply with Kijik’s access requirements and state laws. To report trespassing, please contact Kijik Corporation via phone or email.
